Make Noise // Final week!

Last week we rounded out "Make Noise" and I think it ranks up there with my top 3 series that we've ever done! I probably say that all the time. I hope you didn't miss it! In case you did, here's what you missed!

Just like it drives us crazy when we misplace things and our stuff gets lost, it should drive us more crazy when people are lost without Jesus. The world rejoices when someTHING gets found, but Heaven rejoices when someONE is found!

“Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins[a] and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Luke 15:8

  • Everybody is valuable to God. If you want to understand your value, look at the cross.
  • You might be junk to someone else, but you're God's treasure.
  • We can't delegate the search to someone else. We can't sit back and "let someone else tell someone else about Jesus" The search is ours to participate in! It's up to us!
  • God cares just as much about one as He does about everyone.
  • God never loses interest in you!
  • The woman had to sweep through the mess to find her lost coin. Jesus came to us in our mess in order to find us. Sometimes we need to enter other people's messes in order to introduce them to Jesus!
  • There are lost coins everywhere! If God thinks someone has value, then we should think the same thing!

Oh, and someone met Jesus on Wednesday, so we had a PARTY!
